SCIENCE, EXPLAINED SIMPLY
From a single cat hair: how allergens enter daily life
Cat hair isn't the problem itself—it acts as a carrier. These three steps show how it spreads from cats into shared spaces.
Can the AmiFree series help with my cat allergy?
No. The AmiFree series is designed to help manage allergen exposure from cats and the home environment. It is not a medication for human allergies and does not replace medical evaluation or treatment. Please consult a qualified healthcare provider for decisions regarding symptoms, medications, or living arrangements.
Will this make my cat hypoallergenic or allergen-free?
No. Cats still produce allergens. The goal is to help reduce exposure, not eliminate it entirely. No product can make a cat allergen-free.
What is Fel d 1 and why is it the primary target?
Fel d 1 is a well-studied cat allergen found in saliva and skin secretions. Grooming spreads it onto the fur, where dander and dust can distribute it throughout the home. The fur itself is typically not the allergen. Fel d 1 accounts for up to 96% of cat sensitization cases reported in scientific literature and remains the most thoroughly studied core component.

IgY is an antibody derived from egg yolk. Published laboratory studies show that anti-Fel d 1 IgY binds the protein and reduces measured active Fel d 1. OKCLEAR uses this source-control approach; results from other tested products do not apply to OKCLEAR.

Mix the powder into your cat's regular dry or wet food, following the dosage on the product label and based on your cat's weight. Directions may vary by SKU and cat weight; always follow the label.
When should I check the results?
Follow the product-specific directions and the measured endpoint. Published studies of a specific anti-Fel d 1 IgY cat diet observed changes in active Fel d 1 after approximately three weeks of continued feeding; this timeline does not apply to OKCLEAR powder results or promises. Dietary, grooming, and home-care outcomes vary.
Reference: Satyaraj et al., Immunity, Inflammation and Disease, 2019 ↗Can it replace antihistamines or medical advice?
No. This is a routine for pets and homes only. Decisions regarding human symptoms, medication, or living arrangements must be made with a qualified clinician. Seek urgent medical care if you experience breathing difficulty, blue lips or face, severe wheezing, or rapidly worsening throat symptoms.
What does the "1 day" indicator mean?
Under defined product test conditions, target-allergen indicators changed in as little as one day. This does not promise symptom relief for humans within a day. The claim applies only to the powder + spray + shampoo combination test, not to individual products or human symptom improvement. Dietary, grooming, and home-care endpoints vary.
- Separate measurable indicator changes from household experience: the latter is also influenced by exposure load, individual sensitivity, and the home environment.
- Published IgY cat food research showed a significant reduction in active Fel d 1 starting from week 3. This serves as a reference for sustained source management, not a universal timeline applicable to every product.
Is it just Fel d 1, or Fel d 1–8?
Fel d 1 is one of the most studied cat allergens, primarily found in saliva and sebaceous secretions. However, cat allergy involves multiple components: Fel d 2, 4, and 7 can also drive distinct molecular sensitization patterns. OKCLEAR uses Fel d 1–8 as its R&D and testing framework to enable product designs that account for multiple exposure pathways across the source, coat, and home environment.
- A multi-target approach doesn't mean every home must address all eight components at once; it means R&D shouldn't reduce real-world exposure to just one marker.
- For partners, it provides a more complete language for product development, testing, and training.
Where does the research background come from?
Founded by a team with research experience in pet nutrition from Zhejiang University. This statement describes the team's background and does not indicate that OKCLEAR is an official Zhejiang University product, produced by Zhejiang University, or endorsed by Zhejiang University.
Which cats require a veterinary check before use?
Read the actual product label first. If your cat has special dietary needs, a health condition, or uses other supplements, consult a veterinarian. Directions may vary by SKU. Kittens, pregnant or nursing cats, and cats with chronic conditions should be evaluated by a vet before use.
Do you work with distributors and business partners?
Yes. OKCLEAR collaborates with distributors, pet-health channels, specialty retailers, e-commerce platforms, pet-food brands, and research partners. We value partners who can review technical materials, communicate responsibly, and support the channel long-term.
- For an initial discussion, please share your company website, current channels, SKUs of interest, estimated initial volume, and any review questions.
- Partnership availability depends on the product, project scope, and applicable requirements.
